Our Cotswold Country House Hotel & Spa

"Enjoyed a relaxing break at this lovely hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with all amenities. The bathroom was large with shower and freestanding bath. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal in the restaurant. The breakfasts provided a number of options with all the extras of cereals, fruit etc. It was great to have breakfast cooked to order which is sadly lacking in many hotels. The public spaces are well decorated and inviting. The overall impression is one of serenity and calm, the ideal setting for getting away from it all to relax. All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. It takes about 20 minutes to walk into Cirencester and is also ideally located for exploring the local area."

"We enjoyed a lovely morning in the Stratton house spa and took advantage of the treatments on offer. Lovely friendly staff on arrival and in the treatment room. The gardens are beautifully kept and everywhere is impeccably decorated. After our spa morning we sat in the garden room and were served a delicious lunch by a very friendly waitress. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was fantastic like something from MasterChef it was superb!"

"We had a perfect couple of days here and couldn’t recommend more highly. Surrounded by rolling countryside and staffed by friendly and helpful fellows. The rooms are huge. A special thanks to Andrea who served every meal with a smile. The spa facilities were great and were the cherry on the cake of a much-needed break from city life."

"Just had a two night break at Stratton House which we thoroughly enjoyed. The room, staff, food and location were all excellent. We ate in the bar on the first night and were well looked after by Adrian. Breakfast too was delicious with table service for hot food which is so much nicer than a help yourself buffet. Unfortunately it was too cold to make use of the gardens but these look a great spot for a glass of wine on a balmy summer evening. Proximity to Cirencester was also in walking distance. Will definitely return for another visit."

"We had such a lovely time at this hotel, one of the best we have stayed at in a very long time. The room allocated was lovely, the staff were excellent from the time we arrived until we left. The staff were all very pleasant and could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was superb, breath of fresh air the it was to order and not self service."

"Lovely weekend break at this hotel. We had a fabulous Sunday roast and great wines and then a great choice of breakfast the following morning. We used the lounge and the bar area on the evening which both had a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. All staff we spoke with were friendly and attentive, a real asset to the hotel. We booked a deluxe room which was clean, light and spacious with a great view of the garden. So nice, we've booked a spa session as a birthday treat for a family member."
