"This was our second stay after thoroughly enjoying our first visit. We love the hotels character and history, as well as the spacious, comfortable rooms. Its location was ideal for us too - a pleasant 20 min walk into Cirencester which left us feeling refreshed. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and very tasty indeed. We had a few drinks in the bar on the sat night which had a nice relaxing atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back again - it’s become a real retreat for us."

The property exudes style, ambience, and character, creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well presented. Dining was a particular highlight. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, with high-quality cuisine and attentive service that greatly enhanced our stay. Once settled, the remainder of our visit was seamless and highly enjoyable. Overall, this hotel offers great experience and we would gladly recommend it to others."

"My friends and I booked a Spa afternoon which included 20 min treatment, afternoon tea and use of spa. We were blown away by the setting, the service and the food. The staff were so accommodating, easily allowed for a soy and dairy free afternoon tea for one friend as well as the usual for the rest of us. We were chatting too much that we didn’t finish the food before our treatment was due to start so they helpfully kept the food and the table for us for after the spa and even warmed the scones back up for us. The treatment was a lovely facial and the facilities allowed us to while away the hours in a beautiful setting. It really is a gem and we will be back!"

Hotel facilities were perfect for our overnight stay as once we had checked in; we didn't need to leave the property again until check out time the next day."
