We found the location easy to travel short distance to visit other parts within the surrounding area. Room very well laid out and very in keeping with the hotel. "Lovely hotel. Room and bathroom size very good and clean, and the bed very comfortable so had a really good night's sleep. The waiter/bartender in the bar was exceptionally helpful, he seemed to be rushing around to help everyone everywhere! As soon as we arrived he straightaway came to our car and helped carry virtually all our luggage up to the first floor room. Later we had a nightcap in the bar and he was the most helpful and sociable bartender, nothing was too much trouble at all. My partner had a brandy and the bartender even offered to warm his glass so that the flavour of the brandy was enhanced! Never had that kind of service anywhere! Also location was good, only about 10 mins into the centre of Cirencester itself."

"Lovely place with beautiful walled garden. Plenty of parking. Lovely sized room for the two of us and our dog. The breakfasts were amazing, lots of freshly cooked choices as well as continental buffet. Reasonably priced evening meal, which was delicious. Very accommodating for people with dogs. Very pleasant mini break in a comfortable and welcoming place."

"Lovely break away at this friendly hotel. Our room was spacious and very clean. Staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and there was a good choice of food for breakfast and dinner. One evening we had the chateaubriand which was delicious and very reasonably priced. We also visited the spa on our last day. The staff at the spa were lovely as were the treatments. We had the afternoon tea to finish off our afternoon. The hotel was in a good position for many places to visit in the Cotswolds. We would definitely return."

"Exceptional and again at any time! Incredibly friendly staff who always looked after our well-being. Beautiful rooms, large, spacious and comfortable. Bathroom great and high quality. Dinner very luxurious, breakfast first class - great additions to the continental breakfast to order, e.g. salmon & egg, vegetarian English breakfast, porridge, avocado toast etc... we would come back at any time! Beautiful location in the Cotswolds."

Wonderful Stay. Breakfast was incredible, the staff were super friendly and helpful with my intolerances. The hotel is decorated very nicely with plenty of little corners to tuck yourself away into for a quiet chat, games or people watching. The room was really comfy, the bed super luxurious and the biscuits were refreshed daily 😉.

"Absolutely Fabulous The staff at this lovely hotel were absolutely wonderful at all levels with smiley faces and nothing was too much trouble. My partner and myself have a few health problems which were catered for in a pleasant manner, putting us at ease wherever we went. Also "dog friendly" was also catered for in a lovely manner. The bedroom, linen beautiful, bed most comfortable and we had the best sleep 😴 ever! The restaurant's food both breakfast and dinner were faultless. A lovely peaceful ambience pervades this hotel and we were sorry 😞 to leave. We will miss the locals regularly dropping in many with their dogs to enjoy either coffee and/or afternoon tea. We thoroughly recommend this hotel to everyone who appreciates quality and enjoys the service provided - the like of which we have rarely found elsewhere."
