Experience a traditional afternoon tea amongst the friendly Cotswold charm of our Country House Hotel nestled in the heart of the countryside on the outskirts of Cirencester.

Freshly prepared daily by our in-house pastry chef, our take on an English tradition is the perfect way to sit back and enjoy the views over our private walled gardens.

Celebrating a special occasion you can add a glass of fizz to make it an extra special occasion. Whether in our elegant lounge, our garden room or outside on the terrace you are assured a friendly welcome in our little corner of the Cotswolds.

How much is afternoon tea?

Afternoon tea starts at £22 per person and is payable at the time of booking.

For an extra little sparkle, add a glass of prosecco for only £5 per person.

When do you serve afternoon tea?

We serve afternoon tea on Mondays to Saturdays between 2 – 6pm, and on Sundays between 3 – 6pm.

Do we have to book?

Yes. As our sandwiches, cakes and scones are freshly made each morning by our pastry chef, we do require advance booking at least 24 hrs before your visit.

Do you have a gluten-free option?

We can provide a gluten-free option with prior notice with at least 24 hrs. Ensuring everyone can indulge in the Cotswold tea experience.

Can you cater for groups?

Yes we can cater for group bookings for afternoon tea, depending on how big your group is you can use our lounge, restaurant or our Stratton Suite.

Our Events Co-ordinator Charla will be happy to discuss your requirements with you.

Where is afternoon tea served?

We generally serve afternoon tea in our lounge or Garden Restaurant with views overlooking our gardens. You can however also have afternoon tea in our Oak Bar or out on the terrace or under the pergola should you wish in warmer weather.

Do you sell gift vouchers for afternoon tea?

Yes we sell general gift vouchers for use across the Hotel and the Spa as well as specific Afternoon Tea Gift Vouchers.
