"The food and service were both five star. We had the sirloin steak special, with bone marrow gravy which was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Great recommendation on the wine to accompany it too. The rhubarb trifle which my husband orders for dessert however stole the show. A fabulous combination of good chunks of pink rhubarb, silky custard and cream and crunchy honeycomb topping, which was overall not too sweet was a real winner. "

"We had the pleasure of staying with you for 3 nights from 20th March last and really enjoyed our time. The breakfast was great with a good selection, we particularly enjoyed the Cotswolds breakfast which was delicious. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable and if we visit Cirencester again will definitely look to stay with you. The hotel is the perfect distance from the town to walk off breakfast. Free parking is ideal. Highly recommend Stratton House Hotel."

"Perfect Experience. Stayed in February. Walked into Cirencester from hotel took 20 mins each way. There is a bar with a logfire which was warm and cosy. The breakfast was fab, choice of cereals, fruits, yoghurt, bread and more, with a hot breakfast choice in addition. We ate the bar menus during the evening twice and at lunch once. The food was fabulous and we couldn't fault it. The staff were great - a special call out to Adrian - who was upbeat, enthusiastic and professional."
