The Scones: Our fruit and plain scones are always fresh and expertly baked in-house here at the hotel and of course, include fresh fruit jam and indulgent clotted cream.

The Sandwiches: Beautifully presented finger sandwiches with the crusts neatly trimmed, filled with our chef’s delicious fillings.

The Cakes: These are always varied, from mini desserts and yummy seasonal cakes to handmade sweet pastries.

When's the Best Time for Afternoon Tea?

Well, the Duchess of Bedford had her tea around 4 pm to stave off hunger until her late dinner at 8pm. But you can enjoy afternoon tea at Stratton House Monday to Saturday from 2pm to 6pm, Sundays 3pm – 6pm priced at £22 per person.

If you’re celebrating something special or would just like to elevate your experience with a glass of Prosecco you can add a little sparkle for an extra £5 per person.
