Stratton House Hotel welcomes everyone to enjoy the facilities and services we have on offer regardless of their access needs.  

The following access statement aims to describe our facilities and services in detail to assist guests and visitors and does not contain any opinions as to their suitability for those with access needs.

Location

Stratton House Hotel is just over a mile from Cirencester town centre which can be reached by a short drive or a 20 minute walk along Gloucester Road and down the quaint Gloucester Street to the Market Square. 

There are a number of local taxi services and public transport operating within the area and train services are available from Kemble station.  Our team will be happy to provide information should you require it.

Parking

The hotel has free on-site guest parking for 70 cars, with disabled spaces next to the main entrance of the building and also directly in front of the Cotswold wing of the hotel which includes our function room the Stratton Suite. 

There are no steps within the car park enabling easy access to the front of the hotel and out into the gardens.

Access to the Hotel

There are no steps into the main entrance of the hotel neither are there any steps between the entrance, reception, bar and lounge. 

Two low steps lead up from reception to the restaurant and also from the lounge into the Garden room, however we can provide ramps to assist with these if required, please ask at reception.

For guests who wish to eat alfresco or discover our gardens, there is a small step from the Garden Restaurant out onto the terrace.  There is direct access directly to the terrace and gardens from the car park. 

Our function room, the Stratton Suite, is on the ground floor and can be accessed from reception as well as a separate entrance in the Cotswold wing.

Access to, and use of, the Spa  

In order to use the Spa facilities you must be 18 years old or older.  Those aged 16 and 17 can use the facilities but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The Spa is accessible from within the Hotel via the Garden Restaurant and from a separate entrance via the Garden.  There are no steps at either entrance to the Spa.

All of the Spa facilities and treatment rooms are located at ground level with the exception of the nail bar.  If required our nail technicians can complete nail treatments within one of the 5 treatment rooms on the ground floor.

Many of our treatments can be adapted for those with access requirements.  If you have any specific access requirements or are unsure whether a treatment could be adapted please contact the Spa team in advance and they can assist you.

Bedrooms

The hotel has 9 bedrooms on the ground floor, 5 of which have both shower and bath facilities and the remaining 4 with just a shower.

We also have an accessible bedroom, room 20, with a very large bathroom and walk in shower and a fire door enabling guests to exit the hotel quickly in the event of an emergency.
